Antonis Bultadakis – The Muscovites

Antonis Bultadakis  lives in Moscow the last 13 years. His series of photographs entitled «Muscovites» is a sketch of the human presence in the Moscow metropolis; he has no intention to describe the characteristics or the identity of his fellow citizens, since he knows very well, that by doing so, he would fall into the trap of making a journalistic or sociological investigation. Taking this cohabitation as  an  occasion, he creates a special world, a photographic idiom, and in this way he presents us, more substantially, his relationship with them, but also with his new place of residence. It is a world that lives and breathes photography and his true essence lies there. The photographs will be shortly published and presented to the general public under the title «The Muscovites».

Antonis Bultadakis born in Athens, Greece in 1965. Self-taught and always feeling as amateur for whom you will find more inside his photos. Ηe also learned from Akis Karamanos and Dimitris Apostolos. Since 2007, permanent resident of Moscow, Russia.
