Luminous Eye launches an international thematic call for entries aimed at organizing a group exhibition entitled Inwards – Life on pause as a starting point for transformation.
The pause we are experiencing today, due to the effects of the pandemic, has been the reason for the present open call. What is the antidote to insecurity and fear? This situation gives us the opportunity to reflect on the values we stand for in our lives, our relationship with the world and ourselves, as well as to see our motivations, goals and aspirations under a different light.
Instead of focusing on a constant search for confirmation, this period of confinement may be the starting point for orienting our everyday life, eventually our whole lives, in another direction. This redefinition begins with an introspection and an observation that today are considered not only legitimate but also necessary. This process of transformation, which is always reflected in the gaze, is the offering of the circumstances.
