Luminous Eye launches an international thematic call for entries aimed at organizing a group exhibition and a catalog entitled A PHOTOGRAPH – A WISH for 2022.
A picture is worth a thousand words, so let’s wish with a photograph for the new year. Expressing in this way our expectations and our hopes for the time to come. Creating a positive aura with the medium we love. Photographs, regardless of their content and form, their genre or their school, simply state our intention, as a feeling, as an energy.
PARTICIPATION
All photographers (professionals or amateurs) have the right to participate, regardless of age and nationality. The minimum age is 18 years.
Participation is free.
DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION
Photographs must be sent to info@luminouseye.net no later than 31 December 2021, at midnight.
TERMS OF PARTICIPATION
Participants should send to info@luminouseye.net:
- Name and surname.
- A photo in jpg format, 1500 pixels the largest side and 72 dpi resolution.
- The file name should be: NAME_SURNAME-01.jpg
- Their website’s and social networks’ profile address (if any).
The photographers whose works will be selected for the exhibition and the catalog will be asked to pay the amount of 70 euros.
After the end of the exhibition, the selected photographers can pick up from Luminous Eye their photograph as it has been exposed (with the frame in dimensions: 30×45 the smallest and 50×75 the largest).
SELECTION – EXHIBITION’S SPACE AND DURATION
The selection will be made by the Luminous Eye team.
A catalog of all selected projects will be published. The catalog will be available for sale at the gallery and on the e-shop of Luminous Eye.
The exhibition will take place in January 2022 at Luminous Eye, Mitseon 2A, Athens, Greece and will last for two weeks.

Additional Terms
- The selected photographers transfer to Luminous Eye the right to publish their photographs in the exhibition and in any promotion of their work, including all printed formats (catalogs and postcards of limited edition).
- The photographs of the exhibition will remain in Luminous Eye for a period of 30 days after the end of the exhibition so that the photographers can pick up their works from Luminous Eye, 2A Mitseon, Athens.
- After 30 days the works will be destroyed.
- If photographers are unable to pick up their work it will be sent by post. Shipping costs are at the expenses of the photographers.
- The exhibition’s photographs are on sale by the photographer itself. In case of interest, Luminous Eye brings in contact the photographer with the interested person. Luminous Eye has no profit from the photographs’ sale.
Copyright
The copyright of the images remains the property of the creator / photographer of the image. By participating in the call, the photographer guarantees that he is the creator and owner of the work, that he has the permission of the subject, that the works do not infringe the rights of third parties (including the rights of secrecy, abuse, harassment, misleading behavior, disclosure or publication).
By submitting proposals in this open call participating photographers accept the above terms.
